Crossing the Threshold: a step by step guide to developing your place of worship for wider community use and managing successful building projects
The Historic Religious Buildings Alliance (HRBA) and the Diocese of Hereford are pleased to announce that work has started on updating and developing a much expanded version of the 2013 Crossing the Threshold: a community development approach to the use of church buildings toolkit.
This is being made possible by the award of a £12,000 grant from Allchurches Trust to HRBA.
The work is being undertaken in partnership with the Diocese of Hereford who published the original edition in 2005 which has become a highly valued and well-known publication throughout the church sector. The Diocese are contributing £2,000 towards the initiative.
The new resource will be made available online and free to download. Printed versions will be available on request.
*** SAVE THE DATE ** It is to be launched at a training event on 3 November 2017 being held in St Martin in the Bullring, Birmingham – Crossing the Threshold press release from Catherine Cashmore Hereford
