Reviews of the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF)
For the closure of the Grants for Places of Worship scheme (GPOW), see here.
The work of the HLF is undergoing two reviews:
1. a targeted review by the Government
2. a review of its strategic framework carried out by the HLF itself
1. GOVERNMENT REVIEW: CONSULTATION – DEADLINE Noon Thursday 6 April NOW CLOSED
The Government has launched a call for evidence on the roles and responsibilities of the National Heritage Memorial Fund (NHMF) and Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF).
Heritage, natural environment and other cultural organisations, as well as members of the public, are invited to submit their views over the next six weeks
You can access the press release and online consultation here. There are quite a few questions, and in case you wish to plan in advance we have created a pdf of all the questions – for organisations or for individuals.
2. REVIEW OF HLF STRATEGIC FRAMEWORK
During 2017 the HLF will be reviewing its strategic framework. It is anticipated that this will include consultation with a range of stakeholders. In this context, the HRBA has written to the HLF with a discussion note setting out ways in which HLF might wish to develop the Grants for Places of Worship programme in future.
